Rogoznica has a 54 km long coastline and its geographical position is right in the center of the Dalmatian coast; in addition, it is the most expansive part of the Dalmatian coast, which penetrates deep into the Adriatic.

The location of Rogoznica separates the North Adriatic from the South Adriatic, which is also underlined by the unique climatic conditions in this area, or more precisely on the Horn of Rogoznica, where there is a direct impact of climates, winds and ocean currents, the battle between the North and South winds (Bura and Jugo).
